The Women Leaders in Higher Education Hawaii State Chapter is a part of a larger network of women in higher education across the country.  The organization was established for the following reasons:

Identifying Women Leaders in Higher Education
Developing the Leadership Skills of Women in Higher Education
Encouraging Women Leaders to Make Full Use of Their Abilities
Advancing Women into Senior-Level Positions
Linking Women Leaders at All Levels to One Another
Supporting the Retention of Women in Higher Education
