Survey Regarding Accreditation Issues

The University of Hawai‘i at Manoa is accredited by the Senior Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC). In the commission action letters on the 2004 UH system visit and the 2003 Manoa special visit, WASC identified four areas of concern: (1) planning; (2) assessment of student learning; (3) financial management and resource allocation; and (4) leadership and governance. A summary of these issues is provided in the attached survey. We are seeking your input on these issues.
