The Strategic Plan Implementation Kick-off and Events at Manoa committee (SPIKE-M) was created to facilitate community-wide and in-depth discussions on the best methods of realizing the vision articulated in the Mānoa strategic plan, Defining Our Destiny.  From January 20 to January 27, UH Manoa will host events to kick-off Strategic Plan, Phase II.  These events feature some of Mānoa’s most talented students, faculty and alumni in Dance, Art, Literature and Theater.  Then, throughout the rest of the spring, the public is invited to participate in forums and town hall meetings that consider the Strategic Plan as encapsulated in these areas:

1. Improving Graduate Education
2. Making Mānoa a Hawaiian Place of Learning
3. Improving Student Life at Mānoa
4. Distance Education and Educational Entrepreneurship
