Military Programs
Reserved Officer Training Corps (ROTC) programs in Military Science (Army) and Aerospace Studies (Air Force) are both offered at UH Mānoa. These nationally ranked ROTC programs service students from all of the UH campuses on O‘ahu, as well as students from Hawai‘i Pacific University, and Brigham Young University - Hawai‘i. UH Mānoa recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding with National Defense University’s Joint Forces Staff College in Norfolk, Virginia. The agreement permits students who have successfully completed the Joint Forces programs to count those courses as fulfillment of the concentration course requirement of the UH Mānoa Masters of Public Administration degree. The OVCAA is currently exploring other possibilities for agreements with Joint Forces Staff College.
