The public is invited to UH Mānoa’s 2016 Homecoming celebration, “Nā ʻono o Mānoa – The Flavors of Mānoa,” on Friday, October 14, 2016, from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex.

The event will feature popular Eat the Street food trucks and Honolulu Night Market vendors provided by Street Grindz, and appearances by UH Athletics teams, coaches, UH Pep Band and cheerleaders.

Emcees will be KC and Tantra from the Power 104.3 Morning Show.  Live music will be provided by The Vitals 808.  There will be drawings for prize give-aways, including UH football tickets to the October 15 Homecoming game against UNLV at Aloha Stadium.

Any full-time UH Mānoa undergraduate student presenting a valid UH Mānoa ID at the ASUH table will receive a Homecoming 2016 T-shirt, while supplies last.  Also, any student with a valid UH Mānoa ID may pick up a $5 voucher at the UH Mānoa table to use at any food vendor at the celebration, while supplies last.

After the festivities, cheer on the UH Women’s Volleyball team at the Stan Sheriff Center, as the Rainbow Wahine face UC Irvine.  The game begins at 7 p.m.; standard entrance fees apply.

Parking is available in the Parking Structure or in lots along East-West Road.  Rainbow Shuttle service is also available with stops at Moore Hall and Kennedy Theater.

This is a drug- and alcohol-free event.
