Get a jump-start on a career in education without leaving our island home. Be part of a growing population of students enrolling in these degree or certificate programs:

  • Associate in Arts in Teaching Degree
  • Accelerated Associate in Arts in Teaching  Degree 
  • Alternative Certification for CTE Licensure
  • Special Education Certificate

Leeward Community College's Education Program faculty and staff will present a free information session on Wednesday, May 6, 2015, 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm in ED 104, to explain the degree and certificate programs and answer any questions you may have. 

The information session is open to the general public. Attendees will learn more about the degrees and certificates, and meet some of the instructors, counselors, academic coaches, and students enrolled in the program.

Leeward Community College’s Associate in Arts in Teaching degree offers a solid liberal arts core and specific education classes that prepare students to become entry-level educators or to transfer to a 4-year teacher education program. The program has articulations in place with UH Mānoa, UH West O`ahu, Chaminade University, and the University of Phoenix.
