The University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo School of Education announces the start of a new Master of Education cohort for the spring 2014 semester. The priority deadline for applications is October 15, 2013.

“The M.Ed. degree program fosters professional growth and the renewal of licensed teachers in educational settings, enabling teachers to analyze and apply current initiatives, educational technology, and methods of addressing the needs of Hawaiʻi’s diverse student populations,” noted UH Hilo School of Education Advisor Travis Nakayama.

The M.Ed. is a 30 semester-hour program that requires four semesters and two summers to complete. Courses are offered once a week during evenings and special summer sessions.

Online applications and information can be found at: http://www.uhh.hawaii.edu/studentaffairs/admissions/index.php and http://www.uhh.hawaii.edu/depts/education/MEdProgram.php.
