UH alumni, friends and the community are welcome to “UH Day at the State Capitol” for a fun and educational celebration!

This year’s theme is “Healthy People, Healthy Pets." The event will include interactive exhibits by various UH campuses, including the John A. Burns School of Medicine, the UH Cancer Center, UH Manoa’s College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources, UH Hilo’s College of Pharmacy, Kapi’olani Community College, Windward Community College’s Veterinary program and much more.

In addition, there will be a farm animal exhibit featuring sheep and newborn lambs.

UH Day at the State Capitol is part of the state legislature’s 10th Annual Education Week coordinated by the Hawai’i State Senate Committee on Education, chaired by Senator Jill Tokuda.

The UH band and cheerleaders will be on hand for a pep rally to kick off the event, and prizes such as inter-island round-trip tickets will be up for grabs.
