University of Hawaiʻi Maui College invites those interested in obtaining a bachelor’s degree or information on careers and networking opportunities to attend the College Transfer and Career Fair. The fair will be held on campus in the Pilina Multipurpose Room and Student Lounge on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The college fair will have representatives from the University of Hawai'i System and other mainland colleges to provide students with information on admissions, transfers and baccalaureate degrees.  There will also be representatives from county and state agencies as well as private companies looking to recruit new graduates.

“This is the first joint College Transfer and Career Fair held at UH Maui College,” said Cooperative Education Director Kehau Newhouse. “We are excited to provide this valuable networking opportunity for students to meet potential employers and get information on bachelor's degrees. At the same time it gives Maui based companies the opportunity to advise students about the professional world and employer expectations while recruiting students and graduates.“

The fair is a collaboration between the Cooperative Education, Internships & Workforce Readiness Center and the Counseling Department at UH Maui College.  For more information call Cooperative Education at (808) 984-3318.
