HONOLULU – The University of Hawai‘i Foundation is pleased to announce that Carolyn Ogami Fuller has joined the development team as the director of development for the UH Mānoa William S. Richardson School of Law. Ogami Fuller will be responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of private philanthropic gifts to the school.
 
Ogami Fuller comes to UH Foundation with extensive fundraising and legal experience. Most recently, she served as the assistant director in the Office of Gift Planning at the University of California, Berkeley where she worked for four years. Prior to this, she spent 18 years in private practice as a family law attorney in Honolulu. During this time, Ogami Fuller operated a solo law practice and worked as a senior associate at the family law firm of Stirling & Kleintop. She also taught a Family Law Clinic course at the William S. Richardson School of Law in 2001.
 
Law School Dean Avi Soifer said, “We are extremely pleased that the foundation has chosen Carrie to be our next director of development at the law school. She brings multiple talents and deep experience to the tasks ahead and she knows the Hawai‘i legal community and is greatly respected within it.”
 
Ogami Fuller was born and raised in Honolulu. She graduated with a BA in Asian studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara and received her juris doctor degree from Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco.
