The Pearl opens for fall 2010

The Culinary Arts program at Leeward Community College announces the fall 2010 opening of The Pearl on Thursday, September 2, 2010. The Pearl is Leeward’s fine dining restaurant that supports the advanced culinary students in cooking, baking, special events planning and dining room management. The Pearl is open to the public on a limited basis each semester.

The Pearl offers lunch service on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., from September 2 through December 3. The Pearl will be closed on October 13-15, 20- 22, 26, November 10- 12 and Nov. 24- 26 for special events and Thanksgiving break. 

Chef Instructor Ian Riseley and his Contemporary Cuisines class students provide the culinary artistry and distinctive style of The Pearl. Menus for the semester and details on the special events are available online at www.leeward.hawaii.edu/thepearl.
