"Starting Your Small Business in Hawaiʻi" workshop offered

An expert from the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo Small Business Development Center (SBDC) will conduct a workshop on September 15 from 9-11 a.m. for those interested in fulfilling that dream of going into business for themselves. The workshop will be held at the North Hawaiʻi Education & Research Center, which is located at the former site of the Honokaʻa Hospital. Tuition is $25 and the registration deadline is September 13.

“Starting Your Small Business in Hawaiʻi” will be given by Constance Cate, and will cover the key ingredients needed to ensure a successful small business. It will also explain the steps that one must take to start a business in the state of Hawaiʻi as well as free services offered by SBDC to help orient the entrepreneur to small business life.
