History Day will be the topic of discussion on "Thinking Out Loud," an issues-oriented talk-story community forum on AM 1210 KZOO.  The show airs on Monday, February 8, 2010, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
 
Host George Tanabe, Emeritus Professor of Religion, University of Hawaii at Mānoa, and Jane Silva, Hawaii History Day Coordinator, will talk about History Day, a program of the Hawaiʻi Council for the Humanities, that brings history into the classrooms for students in grades 4 through 12 as they do research and develop essays, displays, documentaries, living history presentations, and websites.
