The University of Hawaii Off-Campus Housing Referral Program (OCH) is a rental referral service provided by the University. Our on-line listing service is available to the public for listing available rental properties to all students, faculty and staff of the University of Hawaiʻi and UH affiliate schools. We have a variety of information regarding renting in Hawaiʻi to assist the university community in finding suitable accommodations.

Our website serves as a primary resource for all University of Hawaiʻi students, faculty, and staff who are searching for, or offering, rental properties. To access and view our listings you must be a current UH student, faculty, or staff member. To use our on-line listing service, members of the university community will be prompted for their valid UH username and password. You may also contact us with your questions, suggestions, or concerns anytime.

The University of Hawaii does not investigate, endorse, nor guarantee the accuracy of any listing referrals, the quality of the facility listed or the listed individuals, the companies or firms listed on our Off-Campus Housing website. Any agreement you may enter into is solely between or amongst the involved parties. A listing on our website does not indicate University approval or endorsement of any kind.

Fair Housing Act

The OCH Referral Program follows the Fair Housing Amendments Act that specifically states that Federal Law prohibits the discrimination of refusal to rent on the basis of race, religion, color, sex or national origin and also protection from discrimination for families with children and disabled persons. This Act applies to all sales, rentals or leases of housing, including residential lots.
