Joanne Cooper, Ph.D. - Director of Hawaii CTT

Joanne Cooper, PhD is a professor of Educational Administration in the College of Education at the University of Hawai'i at Manoa. She has taught learners of all ages and has been teaching for over 27 years, with experience in public school, in community colleges and at UH Manoa where she has been since 1990. Joanne is the co-author of Journal Keeping: How to Use Reflecive Writing for Learning, Teaching, Professional Insight and Positive Change; and is certified Courage & Renewal facilitator and founder of the Hawaii Courage to Teach Program.

Rikki Mitsunaga - Associate Director of Hawaii CTT

Rikki Mitsunaga was first introduced to Hawaii CTT at a retreat at St. Stephen's in the fall of 2006.  Since 2007, Rikki has played a key role by coordinating the administrative details of various retreats and Hawaii CTT programs.

Rikki is currently working on her Ph.D in education administration at the University of at Manoa.  Her special interest is in the development of intercultural awareness of students.
