	Building News: The Law School has been working with Facilities Management on a reduced A/C schedule for the Classroom/Office Building. The A/C for both the Classroom/Office Building and the Law Library share the same chiller unit. Facilities is working with the Law School to determine a schedule that would allow a total shutdown of the chiller plant. Tests to measure the effect of prolonged A/C shutdowns and the potential for mold will be conducted in the Library. The results of the tests will be used to determine the best course of action.

	Building News: The Music Building occupants have already started energy reducing measures including the use of energy efficient desk/standing lamps in place of the older inefficient fluorescent lighting that is currently installed, and the occupants have also been encouraged to shut down computer equipment at night and on the weekends.

	Building News: A 4.5-kilowatt solar photovoltaic panel system was installed on the roof and has been generating power since March 2009. Exterior incandescent lights were replaced with compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulbs; building hallway lights were switched from T12 to T8 fluorescent bulbs; timers were installed on hallway lights that need not be on during the days; and three classrooms were renovated with more efficient lighting controlled by motion sensors.
