HOURS OF CONSTRUCTION:
7 am – 3:30 pm Contractor has approval to work from 6 am – 6 pm, Monday through Saturday, as needed.
ACCESSIBLE ROUTES: Once work starts, the elevators will not be accessible and a small area around the elevator doors will be blocked off. Contractor will provide temporary accessible paths and signage. The project consists of removing: roofing, accessories, wood stairs, railings, supply / exhaust fans, exhaust flue /cap, roof ventilator, mechanical duct, concrete duct supports, sealants, paint, electrical, asbestos containing material and lead paint. New work consists of installation roofing and accessories, precast curb, concrete pad, concrete patchwork, metal stairs and railing, structural steel, metal fabrications, rough carpentry, supply and exhaust fans, exhaust flue and cap, equipment pipe supports, sealants, painting and electrical. An industrial hygienist (IH) is providing air monitoring; sampling and testing for asbestos containing material and disturbance of lead paint. Equipment and roofing supplies will be lifted via crane or articulated lift roof periodically during the project.
