Outstanding Graduate Students Receive Zoology Service Award

The Zoology Graduate Program is pleased to recognize the students below for their outstanding contributions to service. All of the awardees have made substantial contributions to improving graduate student working conditions and funding opportunities through leadership roles in organizations such as ALU, GSO, and EECB. They have all contributed extensively to community outreach and broadening participation in science through activities such as public presentations, workshops, traditional media, social media, and field trips. Many of our awardees have also made substantial contributions to science through leadership positions in professional societies and as peer reviewers. The GIC was extremely impressed with the diversity of ways that Zoology graduate students are contributing to science and society, and we recognize the extraordinary time and effort that the awardees have dedicated to these contributions.
