Jamie Sziklay, a PhD candidate and part of Dr. Donahue's lab at the Hawaii Institute of Marine Biology, is currently looking for one to two volunteers to help conduct dive and/or snorkel surveys in Kaneohe Bay to examine coral cover from September 2014 to December 2014. This fieldwork is part of Jamie's dissertation project focused on understanding coral disease dynamics.
The ideal candidate is an advanced undergraduate or recent graduate interested in coral reef ecology and looking to gain some research/field experience.
