Congratulations to Adrienne Copeland (Biology Student) who won 1st place in the best student presentation in Animal Bioacoustics at the 135th meeting of the Acoustical Society of America in Providence, Rhode Island, May 5-9, 2014. Her presentation was entitled: "Investigating the relationship between foraging odontocetes and ocean acoustic biomass off the Kona coast of the Island of Hawaii," by Adrienne Copeland, Whitlow Au, Giacomo Giorli, and Jeffrey Polovina.
Adrienne is associated with the Marine Mammal Research Program at HIMB and JIMAR. She is currently attending the University of Hawaii at Manoa working towards a PhD in Zoology; studying Marine Mammal behavior.
